$840 million contract

The Department of Veterans Affairs and the US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, has selected Turner Construction Company and Walsh Construction to build an $840 million full-service medical center to serve military veterans in Louisville, Kentucky

In addition to the construction of the new 104-bed, 910,115 square foot medical center, the project includes parking structures, a central utility plant, roadways, sidewalks, and other site improvements.

Small, local, and veteran-owned groups will be involved in the construction of this world-class healthcare facility. The facility will integrate modern patient-centered care concepts to veterans. To address the needs of women veterans, the facility will include a Women’s Health Clinic with four Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACT).
