Through strategic partnerships and innovation, the Valcourt Group is delivering complete building façade solutions that protect and preserve
The Valcourt Group has a legacy stretching back to 1986 when Valcourt Building Services began as a small window cleaning operation in Washington DC. Today the company is the premier provider of commercial restoration, waterproofing, and window cleaning services in the United States. Eric Crabb, CEO, shares a more detailed overview: “The Valcourt Group was formed in early 2021, when Valcourt Building Services merged with the JOBS Group. Since its formation, we’ve continued to acquire new partner brands, some of which are companies with histories going back over a century.
“It’s a fascinating story that goes beyond simply maintaining and renovating buildings. It’s about adapting to advancements in material science, finding smarter ways to keep water and heat out, cool air in, and protecting the structure from all the elements that impact the building envelope. We specialize in commercial spaces, working on everything from high-rises and office parks, to condominiums, hospitals, and hotels, to universities, stadiums, and arenas.”
The business operates two primary divisions: the maintenance division, which focuses on recurring services for both the interior and exterior of buildings, and the restoration division, which manages larger-scale repair and restoration projects associated with long-term asset ownership.
Expertise at height
The maintenance division’s services include window cleaning, pressure washing, glass restoration, parking garage cleaning, metal cleaning, interior high dusting, and other commercial building services. The Valcourt Group stands out for its deep expertise in performing this work at height. Its teams undergo extensive training and follow strict safety protocols, ensuring the highest standards across its projects. The company offers a range of access solutions, including rope descent systems, suspended scaffolding, aerial lifts, and drones, enabling it to safely service areas that were previously difficult or impossible to reach. This combination of technical skills, safety commitment, and innovative access methods enables the Valcourt Group to deliver comprehensive maintenance solutions for even the most complex building façades.
The restoration and repair division addresses a wide range of issues related to building façades. Services include the repair and replacement of façade sections, post-tension cable repairs, application of protective coatings, and the installation of sealants, caulking, and glazing. The Valcourt Group also provides extensive garage restoration and repair work for parking structures nationwide. When addressing potential structural concerns, the work is performed in coordination with third-party engineers to ensure that repairs follow independent specifications and adhere to the highest structural and safety standards.
Future-ready technology
The company has steadily expanded its capabilities and geographical reach to better serve a growing client base. One exciting advancement is the use of drones for exterior cleaning, which provides an alternative access solution in situations where traditional methods such as lifts, may be costly or impractical. For clients with access limitations, the technology enables the Valcourt Group to provide a more efficient and affordable solution for maintaining their properties.
“Drone cleaning is a new technology that we’ve deployed over the last year and a half. We’ve done extensive testing and training, as well as hired certified drone pilots for these roles,” Eric explains. “We’ve made a strong investment in the technology across our regional markets, and we’re looking to double it in the next six-to-12 months.”
The Valcourt Group is actively exploring a range of robotics and drone technologies as part of its broader strategy to deliver smarter, more efficient solutions for clients. From AI-driven façade mapping to alternative access methods, these tools are viewed as pieces of a larger puzzle to improve service delivery. The company remains committed to investing in innovative technologies, whether robotics, AI, or other advancements, to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
Comprehensive service, built on safety
The Valcourt Group’s reputation is built on two core strengths: a comprehensive suite of façade services and a deep-rooted commitment to safety. With much of its work performed at height, safety is embedded into every aspect of its operations. In addition to delivering building services, the company provides fall protection solutions, rooftop anchor certifications, and safety audits, ensuring that buildings meet OSHA compliance while protecting its own teams in the field. Because the Valcourt Group’s technicians use these systems daily, the company is uniquely positioned to ensure both compliance and real-world safety performance.
“What sets us apart is the ability to deliver full-service solutions under one roof,” says Eric. “We’re not limited to one specialty – we’re built to handle the entire building façade, and that’s something most regional providers can’t match.”
This capability is backed by significant investment in people, training, and equipment. “Our people are our greatest asset, so we invest heavily to make sure they’re equipped, trained, and safe every time they step onto a job site,” he adds. “From technician safety and onboarding to high-performance gear designed for at-height work, the Valcourt Group ensures its teams are both prepared and protected, strengthening its role as a reliable, single-source partner.
Successful integration
In addition to its service breadth and safety-first culture, the Valcourt Group differentiates itself by the way it approaches growth, particularly through its partnerships with local brands. One of the company’s core values is respecting the legacy and people behind the businesses that join the Valcourt Group.
“We’re intentional about partnering with companies that not only deliver great work but are trusted names in their communities and built by exceptional people,” Eric states. “That means understanding and prioritizing the legacy they’ve built and the relationships they’ve established in their local markets.”
The Valcourt Group’s integration model is designed to preserve what makes these businesses successful. The company maintains many of its partner brands’ original names to preserve local recognition and trust. A dedicated team oversees the full integration process from early relationship building to operational integration, ensuring a smooth transition.
By streamlining back-office operations and providing access to integrated platforms, the Valcourt Group empowers its partner companies to focus on what they do best – serving customers and supporting employees. The resources provided by the Valcourt Group go beyond supporting day-to-day tasks, helping implement the right tools and scalable processes for long-term growth. From policy development and system integration to operational strategy, the Valcourt Group reduces administrative burdens so local teams can prioritize their people and their customers.
Looking ahead
Concluding, Eric reflects on the Valcourt Group’s goals for the rest of the year and beyond: “We’re focused on growing the business in a scalable way by continuously expanding our offerings and deepening our specialized expertise,” he concludes. “This allows us to provide a breadth of service capabilities across our existing markets while also positioning us to enter new territories and verticals.”
As the Valcourt Group continues to evolve, its focus remains on delivering long-term value to clients through innovation, operational excellence, and trusted partnerships. Whether through cutting-edge technology, expert service at height, or seamless integration with new teams, the company is committed to being a proactive partner in preserving and protecting building assets both today and for the future.
