Optimizing operations
With more than 40 locations across North America including offices, equipment yards, shop facilities, and hiring centers, Apache is well-positioned to meet clients’ needs. “We’re pleased to announce recent upgrades to our Ingleside, Texas facility,” Stephen shares. “These enhancements include the addition of more enclosed work areas, the creation of additional stabilized lay-down acreage, and improvements to our material handling capabilities. These upgrades are designed to optimize our operations and further enhance our ability to serve our clients effectively.
“We are also currently working on a chip plant project in Taylor, Texas and we continue to pursue these types of projects all over the US. Additionally, we plan to enhance and upgrade our Lake Charles and Geismar painting facilities soon. Notably, we were honored to announce our acceptance of the prestigious 2023 Eagle Award by ABC at the 34th Annual Excellence in Construction® gala for our contribution to the LyondellBasell propylene oxide (PO) and tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA) project. Our team’s exceptional work included erecting and demobilizing over 10,000 tons of scaffolding, as well as providing painting, insulation, and fireproofing services, resulting in over 2.5 million safe work hours on the unit. This project was the largest capital investment in LyondellBasell history and culminated in what is now the largest PO/TBA facility in the world. The award recognizes not only Apache’s technical expertise and dedication to safety, but also the company’s contribution to advancing the construction industry’s standards for quality and innovation.”
