Hockey pitch“The big step we’re taking this year is regional expansion. We’re opening a new office in the Lehigh Valley, which is in Northeast Pennsylvania. This will allow us to grow into New Jersey and New York State, as well as consolidate our presence in Eastern Pennsylvania and various regions across Delaware. Our plan is to open another location in Massachusetts later this year.”

The project includes multiple unit types that cater to different levels of independence as Vice President Kate Manna details: “We recently worked on The Cottages, which is a form of hybrid housing that provides elements of both assisted and independent living. We also refurbished their community center with a theatre, dining hall, and art gallery. Additionally, we’re working on the Life Spring facility, which offers memory care and support services to residents with complex care needs. 

“We’ve really loved working with the team behind Cross Keys Village. They’ve created such a wonderful space that really enriches the lives of some of the most vulnerable in our society. It’s wonderful to see families coming together in the new community center, and I’m sure we’ll continue to support their work over the coming years.”

With a century of success under its belt and big plans for the future, Owner Seth Hughes considers what’s next for Mowery Construction: “In the coming years, I’d like to see the business grow at a healthy, sustainable pace. We’re aiming to expand into three new geographic regions.
